Not Ashamed

"I'm not ashamed because I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day." 2 Timothy 1:12 My identity is in Christ. And I am not ashamed of that. He is able to guard whatever I have entrusted to Him.. my heart, my life, my being, my circumstances. "Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world." John 16:33 Jesus promises that He will always be with us and take care of us, whatever comes our way. He cares about us so much and will protect and watch over us and whatever we commit to Him. "But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows." Luke 12:7 We are worth so much to Him! He feeds the sparrows and we are still of more value than those sparrows that He feeds! Because He cares about me so much, it's so easy to know that He loves me and takes care of me! Easy to know that He will keep me and whatever I have entrusted to Him. I know that I believe in God-- the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Comforter, Healer, Friend, Righteous Judge, Redeemer! I know who He is because He has revealed Himself to me in His word. And I am not ashamed of that. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." Romans 1:16
