Completely His

I don't know about you, but lately I've been forgetting just that. That I am completely His. Forever and always. I am fully and completely His child. A child of the King... have you thought about how wonderfully glorious and reassuring that is? Just to know that I will never be apart from Him ever is so amazing that words can't describe... Romans 8:16 says, "The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children." God's gift of grace is so rewarding and beautiful! God Himself created us for His glory! And when we chose to sin and continually do so, we are unable to bring Him glory. God's desire was and is for us to glorify His name and live in His presence forever. But God can't look on sin, so He made a way for us to be with Him forever! He sent His son to be "the propitiation for our sin, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world." The ultimate love story was displayed when Jesus died on the cross for our sins to make the way for us to be with Him! The story doesn't end there though! Christ defeated death when He rose from the grave victorious over sin! When we accept that gracious gift of salvation, we become the children of God!! And when we are His children, nothing can separate us from His love! That, my friends, is the greatest of love stories, the story of how I am completely His! I have accepted His gift of grace through faith and it is such a beautiful gift! I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! How could I? I'm completely His child and nothing could ever separate me from being just that. My Comforter, Redeemer, Protector, Saviour, Lord and King, loving heavenly Father, Counselor, Peace, Foundation is always there for me when I need His help. I just have to remember to thank Him for that. I am completely His.
"For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39
