About Me

Hi there! Welcome to the page where I thought I would introduce myself. 

I am a recent graduate from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO, where I received a Bachelor's degree in Music Education as well as a performance certificate in clarinet. 

While attending SBU, I met and married the love of my life, James. We met at the church I started regularly attending and now we are both members there. We have been married now for just over four years and have two little ones!

I originally started this blog as a way to let out different thoughts I would have and sometimes would intend to make it only about helping out fellow-believers. I discovered that making a weekly entry was way too difficult for my hectic life, and I have gone through many life changes since my Freshman year of college. Because of this, and the feeling that I felt as though I was never "catching up" on blog entries, I decided to revamp my entire blog! Now, if you notice, there are some labels included in the sidebar that inform you of which entries were original and which became more of an entry to "catch up" my readers. These blog entries are still very much available to read, but know that the blog vision has changed and so the format, topics, and style may change with it from now on.

Now that I have told you a little history, personal life, and changes that have occurred, you may like to know what I intend to include in this here blog. Well, that requires knowing a little more about me, Amber Pursselley. I am a very passionate person and I am passionate about many things... Jesus, my husband, my family, my friends, health and wellness, natural living, doTERRA, music, patriotism and politics, and Cardinals baseball. I also have a love for foreign food, fruit, horses, and anything vintage! With this knowledge, you can probably assume that my blog entries will revolve around many of these topics and possibly more. You may not like everything I post, but give my thoughts a chance and see what you think!
